Coffee Meets Culture
It all started with one question: Can you Design A mood board for my brand? so I asked her a few questions, such as what were her brand colors how did she want her brand to look, and feel, etc. I always propose these specific questions to make them think about not just what is happening with their business today but where they’d like their company to be in one, two…five years from. now.
Yolanda was puzzled so she left the decision in my hands with only giving m 2 words “Rich” and “chic” Coffee Meets Culture…it’s a bomb name right?! But I knew (and I think she did too) that if we really wanted to take her brand to the next level and match those keywords of rich, chic then a mood board wasn’t all that she wanted, there needed to be a change a complete revamp.
To completely separate Coffee Meets Culture from the old brand that stood still, we eliminated any distracting colors from the overall brand identity to allow the images to stand out. We added a totally new color scheme and created a brand that both Yolanda and her client would love.
The mood board, classic with a bit of edge, showcased the feel of Yolanda’s work and personality. The strong text-based logo offers a bold and classic statement, that allows easy transition between the various collateral items requested. From Website Design to the branded style guide. It’s all intention and it all works.
